Pennywise the Dancing Clown

Pennywise (who is an evil demon, like...)

Background: An entity shrouded in mystery and tragedy, with very little known actual facts. All that is known for certain is that, every thirty years, in the small town of Derry, "it" comes back.
Pennywise the Clown is the most favoured form of this so-called "It", dating back over two hundred years, the clown has appeared in the small Maine town causing untold havoc and killing countless victims. Pennywise will mostly prey on children, finding them all the tastier when they are afraid. When feeding, the comical clown visage fades away to reveal razor sharp fangs and furiously glowing eyes.
The clown is not Its true form, mostly a diversion or a lure. Behind the clown there lies a creature composed entirely of Dead Lights, a strong and hypnotic glow that can take the form of the entity most feared by Its victims, be it a werewolf, a resentful dead sibling, or an abusive father.
Pennywise is incredibly crafty and has the ability to reate realistic hallucinations to torment and confuse Its victims. However, given several oppertunities to kill the 'Lucky Seven', or 'Losers Club', It either chooses not to or is unable to. This suggests that once a person or persons are able to overcome the initial fear, either through hatred or determination, Pennywise's powers begin to lose effect.
Its most dangerous ability is to be able to inflict terror on Its victims. Once someone is rendered with this fear, it becomes almost impossible to break free from the visions and return to reality alive. Avoiding Pennywise is easy, destroying It may well be impossible. Though It seems to have finally been killed when It returned in 1985, there is no way to tall whether or not It really is dead, or if Its just hibernating, ready to return after another three decades
